Fuel costs as a % of total revenue?

This is true. I looked at it from linehaul. Since fsc + l/h = revenue, I'd have to assume 30% or less, but that is just a guesstimate. My statements come every 10 days, and I'm home often enough to see 3 or 4 waiting for me, so I'll look into it.

Hoohaa, some of you aren't doing your part to support the oil industry. You need to start buying your fuel at the higher fuel stops to get your percentage up. After all, we don't want the oil industry to have a recession, now do we? :P

Ha! Gman made a funny
It is interesting to see that most of these numbers are fairly close. I kind of expected the independents to have quite a bit lower percentage. These are useful numbers when kicking the pencil around  Thanks to all who have replied thus far Arky

In 3 years, the percentage of fuel cost/ total revenue, has increased 10% mostly due to the increased deadheading. In 2005 my first full year with my authority, my deadhead was 16 % So far this year I'm at 19.7% and counting.
