Default Better Insulation for Older Truck?

I am trying to figure out a way to better insulate the floor of my day cab (1985 Freightliner), as I am getting alot of heat from the floor already and can see summer being really rough on my feet.

Any suggestions on this??

Also What happened to the Spell Cow Program that you could use before???????

try a car stereo installer. They have a product called dyna mat, or something similar, it's used for sound deadening, but it has some decent insulating properties, and I think it might have a reflective surface. that would help relfect the heat. Also it would make the cab quieter too.

Papa Rick,
I will ask the guys who are doing my truck what they used to quiet the cab down and insulate the heat out.
I know that they are useing some kind of reflective insulated pad that is like a giant sticker. They have applied it to my entire firewall, floor, and under the hood.
It has made the truck alot quieter, and the interior stays cooler thasn it did before.

I just used some of the house green insulation. Worked pretty good!
