Default Anybody know of were i can get cheap tires for

i need all eight drivers 24.5 low pro. i have been quoted 1700 for recaps from les shawb and 2400 for vergins from the same place.
anybody know if that is good or can i get cheaper tires somewere else here in oregon portland area???

If by "cheap" you mean offbrand, then I highly recommend you don't do it.

no i mean i dont wanna spend alot on tires but i do want a good brand

OUCH! 1700 for recaps.....i bought 4 recaps 27/32 inch tread for 110 apiece at snider tire...i dont know if they have any of those your way but there are plenty here in the southeast.......... on Schneiders "national account" i can get 4 brand new for 293$ apiece

how do i use that national account and were do i go to get them?????

lol that aint gonna happen. thats why im paying out the azz for insurance and plates so i can be my own man. this truck aint leasing on to no one. i gues ill have to find tires else were or some one who works for a big company to get them for me.

I don't know what kind of a deal you can get through OOIDA but they have a national account set up. I think you have to buy them using a specific credit account, though. Not sure how all that works but it's worth looking into I suppose. You can probably do a search on this board to find some info.

2400 for 8 new drives aint bad actually if its a good tire, I wouldnt pay 1700 for recaps though.

if your needing to save money learn how to change em yourself, only takes a couple spoons and maybe a cheater tank, dont pay anything for disposal of the old ones either, sell or give them to a retreader.
