Default BLOCK HEATER

HI GUYS,

I GOT MY TRUCK TODAY 8) IT HAS A 60S 14L. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE THE PLUG FOR THE BLOCK HEATER ? ALSO NEED ADVISE ON COLD STARTING. HOW LONG SHOULD I IDLE TO WARM IT UP ?

THIS IS MY FIRST TRUCK SO I APPRECIATE ALL ADVISE.

they've probably got the Cord wrapped up with Plastic ties. Usually, but not always, on the bottom of the engine to the Left.

Some trucks come from the factory with out them. If it doesn't have one, it only takes about an hour to install one.

If it's not real cold, you don't need to idle more than 2-3 mins... if colder, maybe 5-10, then start out easy on your tranny and other parts until they warm up. Tis the season..... :?
