I have a jumprope but as you know truckstops dont exactly offer any privacy AT ALL! and a female jumping rope is either going to jiggle her backside or her topside in front of SOMEBODY from SOME ANGLE. so I haven't used it yet because I didn't want to be the butt of any jokes or harrassment.
I have 1 15lb barbell in the truck and basically you can only work your arms out in here. I didn't see any room to do pushups or situps in MY truck... On the bunk that offers no support? eww |
Don't eat when you are stressed out. That greasy double cheese can feel awful good after a 20hr day.

While I was OTR,I eliminated sodas, and subsitiuted them for those "crystal light" packets.
Parked as far from the entrance to the truck stop as I could,to do a little walking. And I took 2 sets of dumb bells with me,2 40#'s for low rep heavy weight. And I took 2 25# dumb bells for high rep low weight. Also,I made sure that I ate at least 3 times a day, even if the meals were small.A false misconception is eating 1 meal a day decreases weight, this is wrong.when you eat only one meal a day youre actually slowing down your metabolism, and not giving your body the vitamins and proteins it needs. You want to energize your metabolism,by eating more meals but with less fat and cholesterol.Hope that helps. |
dont be afraid to walk
dont eat while you drive, not even snacks, except for water dont eat before you go to sleep, always sleep on a half empty or almost empty stomach, and eat a hearty breakfast, whenever you wake up i personally eat one meal a day, and will snack at a rest area for about five minutes |
Don't eat so much junk food and get out and do some exercising.
