Ask and ye shall receive: 1 liter of air weighs about 1.3 grams. That's some light stuff.

Depends on the air. Texas air (d-r-y) weighs a lot less than Michigan air. (wet)
Flatulent air is very, very heavy (deadly) and sinks to the ground and sneaks up on you. (silent)
Mountain air is a lot like the air in Paris Hilton's head.
Stormy air is like the air in Rosie O'Donnell's head. (noisy...like a nest of Bee's)
Hot air is heavier than cold air. Also...cold air causes shrinkage. :)

That's a good point. I guess, it would depend on where ya live. :D

a pound is a pound no matter what but the difference would be in volume with moisture content or volume with density.

Gosh Naggit Roadie, now you have to go and confuse me with that stuff. 8) I was just giving a basic weight and you had to add all the extra stuff in. :D

Diesel fuel weighs 7.29 pounds per gallon. I always use 8 pounds when I am looking at my truck weight. It is better to over estimate to keep legal.
