Right off the bat this is a silly question but I want to know. I always see LTL pulling anywhere from one to three of those pup(shorter) trailers around. Question is has there ever been someone who tried to pull more than that? I know that it probably isn't legal but was there ever an experiment to see how many could be pulled before the wiggle factor got to be too much?

With that set up aleast they would have a reason to take up more then 1 space in a truckstop and I don't think there any backing up.

You can't pull more than 3 28's or 2 48s anywhere in North America that I'm aware of.

I've pulled triples before, in higher winds with light or empty trailers it is no fun at all.

Canada allows two 53' trailers for turnpike doubles.

Certain US states like Texas allow 57' box trailers, although you can't combine them to form LCV combinations. At least not yet...
