I dont remember the size of the bolt, but I do remember that an ordinary breaker-bar worked for me. If they haven't done any serious changes, it's a bolt with a "LOCK-NUT". Loosen the lock-nut, screw in the bolt, and don't forget to re-tighten the lock-nut. Then, when you check your limits, make sure that it's still hitting the bolt. It is possible to screw it in far enough that you hit the limits of the steering gearbox before you hit the head of the bolt. Running the gearbox beyond the limits can cause some pretty expensive damage.
