This is more of a personal preference and you'll get difference answers but for me if you want fuel economy you'd want a Freightliner. If you want comfort AND fuel economy Volvo is the way to go. As for me I prefer the Kenworth T600 and the new Kenworth T660 for the fuel economy and comfort, but that is my opinion.

One word.... VOLVO!

Best comfort, best turning radius, best view from driver seat, best aerodynamics for fuel mileage. And in my opinion, best looking truck on the road.

"What tractor is Best"....For what?

Unless you get more specific, you are going to get an extremely wide range of "opinions", and us drivers sure do have "opinions".
Personnel, I prefer ALL Large Cars....specifically the Classic XL.

Volvo does pretty well in the comfort and economy, except for the new ascert engines. Most any of the aerodynamic trucks will do fairly well on fuel mileage. I like the Volvo and International Pro Sleeper. Both are roomy and well laid out.
