Default Update on Venezia Dry Bulk

Just got out of orientation all went good had to tell 1 guy in the class to leave but other then that it went good. The guy who gave me the road test said i did one hell of a job for only being 23 so i was happy to hear that. I never been in a sleeper truck its a bitch with out that back window to hook up a trailer but i got it. They looked up in the computer and said am the youngest guy they had workin for them. They say they will be keepin there eye on me. Which is a good thing cuz i want to show them i can do the job with out a problem. I already have a nickname "young buck".

I will be riding with some one for a couple days. I think am going to like this dry bulk stuff. But i need to get my hazmat to get into the propane divison where the real money is. I got a 2001 9200int. daycab with a c-12 cat and 410,000 on it. This qualcomm may take alittle getting used to. Oh yea and the truck will only go 68mph. Just givin all an update if anyone cares.

I'm in the same boat you guys are...I am by far the youngest in my company. I am 26, our foreman is like 37-38, and the our other two drivers are in their late 50's

Hey Mackman....keep up your posts. I, for one, am keenly interested in how you fare with Venezia. This is exactly the kind of job that I'm doing right now, hauling cement, sand and flyash.

Do let us know what kind of equipment you're driving, how your training is going, what lanes you mostly run, who your customers are, how the company is treating you, how many miles you're doing, hometime etc. Any information that you provide will be keenly appreciated. Wishing you every success.
