Default Anybody use a external cell phone antenna?

I was wondering if anybody has used the wilson cell phone antenna that sells for about fifty dollars at truck stops. To many places and locations my signal is to weak to dial or I get dropped so i am looking for solutions.

Yup, I have one and they work great.

If you get one and find that you want even more reception, Wilson also puts out a powered signal booster.

It's a bit expensive, but the drivers I have talked to that have them swear by them.

I use one for my Sprint EVDO Mobile Broadband card.

it goes from 1 bar to 6 bars of signal with it. Wonderful.

Maybe I'll spring for the line-amp they sell. A friend says it works miracles.

I have the antenna still in shrink wrap waiting to go onto my new truck when I pick it up next week. Didnt get around to installing it before I went on vacation and had to turn that truck in.

Antenna wire plugs into a 10 dollar adapter which plugs into the back of your phone.
