Default log book question

im being tought by a good friend of mine the way of the road i only have a class a temp permit and i was wondering how long can we drive at first we just drove 10 hrs splitting the time between us. now hes running us more like a team and the other day we drove straight through to texas
then on to florida then on to michigain changing drivers when ever the other needed a break cna we leagly run 24 hours a day as a team we drove 4872 miles in 5 days is this even leagl for teams thanks

I think with a permit the other driver has to be awake and riding shotgun, not sleeping in the rear. Just hope you don't get pulled over while he's in the back asleep. :roll:

IF you have a permit only, then YES, another driver with a VAILD Class A MUST be in the jump seat and awake well you drive.

Nor would it be in your buddies best interest either.

If you only have a permit then a driver liscensed for that type of vehicle must be awake and in the front passenger seat at all times while you are driving.

Also, you the trainee will be logging Drive time in your log book and the lisc driver must log On Duty Not Driving in his log book.
