What couldn't you do (gun related) in 2000 that you could do in 1991?
Seriously.

I could if I paid an astronomical "pre-ban" price to buy some. What used to cost $40-60 for a "pre-ban" magazine I can get for $10-15 since Bush let the law sunset in the last year. I'm not into government telling me what to do, which the Democrats are popular for and where Bush has failed. Government and spending is out of control with Bush. But the alternative would have been Kerry. Bush was the lesser of two evils I suppose.
Well. As long as the criminal can have 15 round mags for free and you can get them for $10-15, then we're all good, right? Seems like a bit of a circle jerk to me.
It's impossible to live in a country this large and not have rules. There will always be rules and someone telling you what to do. The more population (illegals notwithstanding) we have, the more rules will need to be in place. This is not some some anarchists' utopia.
And by the way, the most important rule Bush never rammed through his lackeys in Congress was secure borders. HELLO! MCFLY! Porous borders are detrimental to a secure society.
