I think his truck and insurance payments are calculated monthly, not weekly. Just my opinion, I could be wrong 8)

My wife and i use TA and The Flying Hook mostly. We've only found a few bad shower places. But what we do like is that you can get a free and clean shower at the new plazas on the Ohio Turnpike. And they have a nice waiting area with a tv and smoking and non-smoking sides. Probably the only nice thing about the Ohio Turnpike.

When you walk into the shower room at the T/A, look up at the air vent. Most of the T/As I've been in have mold growing on the grate of the vent. The one place that they never seem to clean, no matter how clean the rest of the place is. And, if it's there, you're breathing it too.

And, Pilot is even better at this than T/A.

I must admit, you are correct. I have noticed that. I'm not saying that TA has the cleanest overall, i was merely commenting on where we go.

Crete_drvr: 15 weeks off in HHG isn't abnormal, honestly. Hell, I've only worked about 7 months this year, (Jan, Feb, 2 weeks of Mar, the last week of May til the end of July, then I took August and Sept. off and Just came back in October...and I start re-loading tomorrow to take off again after being at home for almost 3 weeks.) And, I have made more than $60k. I don't work alot, but when I work I bust my ass, and run big money linehauls, my linehauls at my last agent ranged from $13k-$18k. And, it's taken me a year and a half to put 90k miles on my truck. Who's working smarter here? I'm certainly not business savvy, nor do I eat out of a cooler...I stay in hotels, eat out all the time, and will even fly home if I'm stuck somewhere for a week.

But, then again I'm only a 25 year old kid who doesn't know what he's doing.
