If you lie about what medications you are taking and/or why you are taking them then if you are in an accident you will be left holding the bag. The company will disown you, the lawyers for the plaintiffs will come after you with a vengence and you will have almost no chance of winning any kind of law suit.
Some companies have a list about 2 miles long of medications they will not allow their drivers to take, other companies are not so close minded and will allow almost any prescription meds so long as the examing and/or prescribing doctor deems they do not pose a safety risk.
Talk with you personal doctor about the medications you currently take and ask if any of them pose any kind of risk of you driving a CMV. If s/he says yes then find out if there are other treatment options. If s/he says no then ask for a letter, on office letterhead, listing the meds you are on, the reason for the medication, and that they do not pose a hazard for you to take and operate a CMV.
