Can't wait to see it again. I thought it was great---very nice re-work of the book. But, I'm still looking out for another take on this--something like where he's the Last Man standing--holding up in a penthouse apartment in a skyscraper building----hunts the infected by day and searches for supplies, and has to fight defensively floor by floor (in his building) to hold them off every night. You could have IR sentry machine guns, claymore mines, |
Yeah, Wife and I went out to see this while I was home- You know it's a remake of Omaga Man(Charlton Heston 1971) right? Just saw 3:10 to Yuma,
Not sure of the reviews but I liked it, Russel Crowe is captivating all in Gladiator      |
I saw 'Cloverfield' this past Friday. I liked it, thought it was pretty good. It was shot from the point of view of someone's video camera. I thought that was interesting.
I was a little disappointed with the monster, but I won't ruin it for the others. I'll wait to see it again and see everything that I missed.   |

Your correct Jackrabbit.....I wanna see the new anyway.
For some reason I always thought Lee Van Cleef is in the original,a really small part and gets shot at the beginning. The Wild Bunch is one of my all time favoritres. |
Well ain't I the lucky one. My father-in-law brought me BOTH!!! Now....which one to watch first??? :?

The Notebook...
My wife, and I just saw that one. I also saw it at the theater, with a girl that I dated. I forgotten about the movie. Well, tonight, we went to Wal-Mart to get some things for the house. Of course, somehow, I always make my way through the electronics section. My wife told me that we should get it. As soon as I saw that it was James Garner, I remembered the movie. At first, I couldnt convince my wife that I saw the movie, but forgotten it. I finally told her that I saw it on a date. Anyhow,.... my wife, and I were both tearing up a box of Kleenex. I have to admit, it was something. Been around for a few years, but good! |
The Notebook is good and sweet

Just this weekend watched some movies
Becoming Jane       I love Jane Austen. The Katrina story like an amature home movie on the events, interesting but the author really had an agenda. I hated that. Misery     I forgot how crazy that movie was. I still Know What You Did Last Summer     Funny cause it was old... But loved the cast Freddie is a hottie!! |
Misery I forgot how crazy that movie was |

Nobody has mentioned an all time classic! "Thank God, Its Friday!"
|
Yeah, but it's only Tuesday? :?
What was that all time classic you were talking about now? |
Xanadu!
which by the way is Vito's favorite movie, as well. |

Olivia Newtron Bomb.
Man, would I love to have gotten "Physical" with her. :) |
Thank God it's Friday
Xanadu    Olivia Newton John          |
Wow! You guys are showing your age.
|
I grew up back when teenage boys everywhere were ruining album covers, if you know what I mean.
I wasn't one of them...my mom confiscated the album cover for "Let's Get Physical".   |
Just saw the trailer for "The Dark Knight", it was awesome. I wasn't so sure about Heath Ledger as the Joker until I saw the trailer. I was totally impressed. Can't wait to see the movie. This is the best Batman series. Finally, someone who can play Batman and Bruce Wayne and be believable as both characters.
|
And ledger will make the best Joker. Too bad he passed. He totally nailed it based on "The Long Halloween" story that he was based in. Can't wait! The Summer of Batman vs. Ironman! Summer is gonna rock. I need a drink!
|
I saw the trailer for Ironman. Wasn't to impressed with it. I don't know about Robert Downey Jr. I'll wait for Ironman to be on HBO.
Go get your martini... Also saw the new TMNT movie on HBO this week, I liked it so much better than the ones that came out in the 80's. This one was a lot darker. I was a big Turtles fan. Am I only girl that's into these comic book movies? |
tony Stark is a drunk which makes Iron Man great. also Robert Downey JR. is a drunk so he is perfect for it. I think it really looks great.
as for the animated TMNT. I think it was done really well. It was a lot like the first movie. The neat thing about the new one was that it had some actual creators of the turtles involved and Kacey Jones was more true to his character than the guy from "some kind of wonderful" fame acting as the billy bad butt! |
Wasn't into Ironman too much, so I don't know his history. I was going to see "Cloverfield", when I saw the trailer. I didn't even know they were making Ironman.
It will interesting to see the new Indiana Jones. |
Dan in Real Life
One of his daughters in the movie should get an Oscar,, she nailed the part. August Rush     Loved the music No Reservations    Kathrine and Abigail are cute |
Doctor Zhivago.
Great, hip soundtrack. Oh, and laura was cute too! |
Saw "Horton Hears a Who". It was really cute, better that I thought it would be. I'm not a big Jim Carrey fan.
I saw the trailer for Speed Racer. I don't know if my son will be ready for that one. It wasn't what I thought it would be. |
