Well, unless McCain drops dead, everyone assumes he’s the nominee. And Huckabee will be the odds on favorite amongst the “Christian conservatives” for the #2 spot. Might be tough for McCain not to pick him. If he wishes any support at all from the Republican party.
But it is humorous to me, in a way, to see the “conservatives” now act like the little spoiled brat, that takes his ball and runs home if everyone doesn’t play the way he wants too. LOL>
Then maybe any “good” candidates wish not to run, and to try to clean up the mess “Dubya” and the Republican, now Democratic lead Congress will be leaving behind. And it’s a big mess for sure. I think the next President, who ever that might be, is going to have to make some very unpopular decisions if they are to actually take the countries best interest into consideration. It will be either leave the country in the abyss of the special interests and corporate America or be very unpopular and serve 1 term, but do the right things.
