my last comment(I think) on this is that the Coalition didn't invade Iraq because of WMD's.

Unfortunetly war is big business since WWI. Many companies make big profits off of war and they have lobbyists that make massive contributions to our elected officials in D.C., essentially 'buying' their vote to help their company's need.
The merging of business and govt in the past 50 years in troubling, especially in the military. It blurrs the cause of the action, i.e. Iraq. Democrats and Republicans are involved, both to be blamed. |
