Most states do not have registration of firearms. It is not a felony to cross state lines with a firearm.

Yes you can carry a gun across any state line. Maybe not into some city's but defiantly across state line. It is not a felony. And to add to that their is a legal way and an illegal way. A loaded hand gun would definatly be illegal. Each state has different laws. Most maybe all employers forbid it as with any job besides cops.

Federal law protects gun owners, if you are legal to own in the state you?re from and the state you?re headed to, and the weapon in unloaded and in a locked container, then you are protected. However they will need a warrant anyways.

I misread what the law said but, they can make your life extremely difficult if they want to and still might charge you with a crime for crossing a state line with a firearm heres a link if you think you arent subject to a serious tongue lashing. I knew of something like this when I left the Army and was going back home. They made me ship my weapons in my goods and couldnt drive with them. Well, they didnt make me but they said DO NOT DO IT. I wondered why because I had my concealed weapon permit and all the legal documentation. They said it doesnt matter, dont cross the state lines with a weapon.

I guess this could be argued back and forth forever about the laws, but just let these guys carry and when they finally get caught they will realize it has cost them a job and will probly not look too good for their future career-wise.

It's been argued on here forever on other posts and You're right. I'm Definitely against Gun Control but when it comes to carrying while driving Trucks it's a No Brainer. Just listen to the CB late at night. I wouldn't want these guys carrying a weapon.

Talk, whether on the CB or behind the keyboard is cheap. Most people will run their mouth (or fingers) without too much thought behind it. How many of these late night CBers actually follow up on what the say, same with the Internet. As far as carrying a weapon, it is an individual decision. If you can't handle it, don't carry. The was I look at it is that every responsible citizen should carry in defense of your country on down to your family and fellow man. The Supreme Court has ruled that law enforcement has no responsibility to protect an individual. That leaves it to an individual to protect himself. My belief in the right to carry has nothing to do with trucks, it is a right that should be exercised at all times. Otherwise, small chance that it may be, you will end up as a statistic and an example for some of us as to why we should carry.
