Default Merry christmas

I want to wish everyone Merry Christmas. During the shopping days ahead, I would encourage everyone why we celebrate Christmas. It isn't about the presents and Santa Clause. It is about the birth of Jesus Christ who came to this planet to save man. Sometimes, I wish we did not go out and buy expensive gifts that they cannot afford. This is not about gifts to one another. It is nice to hear and see people saying "Merry Christmas" this year.

earlier this morning, when i got out of work (about 5:30 AM, i drove to the bakery i frequent.

the gal there said, "Merry Christmas" to me.

i said, "thank you for saying MERRY CHRISTMAS, as i don';t know anymore if we are allowed to say that!

it seems to me, so many are offended by saying that. i told her, they can just leave my personal space and never return. she said she does not follow "political correctness", and again i thanked her.

i like saying it as it is, and not sugar coat anything to prevent someone from being offended.

so yes...MERRY CHRISTMAS to all from me as well....

Onetime I had a guy tell me that Christmas was getting to be to religious .(??) He just didn't know what to say when I pointed out that it is a religious holiday to celebrate the birth of Christ.

Uhhhhhhh............

Maybe he lived in a cave? I'm not religious at all, no I'm not agnostic, just don't practice, but I've known Christmas was a religious day since I was a wee little one. Too ignorant for their own good I guess!

Merry Christmas to all and after the scenes I saw this morning, stay safe drivers and MAKE IT HOME for Christmas.

Christmas is a great time to reflect on the past year and to think about the new year. I enjoy being with family and friends during this time. We will go to church tonight to celebrate the birth of Christ and then have time with family on Christmas day. I have much to be thankful for this year. Traffic is very heavy and is expected to be so during this holiday season. If you must be on the road be sure to allow extra time for the added traffic and be careful.
