"One thing on my "bucket list" is to ride an ejection seat"
My 'bucket list' would simply have to start with a flight over Mt.Everest..."Top o the world Ma"

Yarr Harr m8's Hog finally gets lucky, and his fingers stink like fish! Harr harr
caught my first steelhead of the season, and it was a nice 6 lb. female with her eggs still.
That is the perfect first catch, because you want those eggs. That is gold for bait.
It's still early. The lakes are still frozen, so the water temperature is too cold yet at 40 degrees.
We got aboot 3 foot of snow in the last month, so it's been a long winter still here.
Snowed 3" just 2 days ago.
Once the ice if off the lakes, and the water warms a little more, the steelies will be doing their spawning run.
There are just a few starting to come in now.
I'm fishing off the river banks with a 10 ft. trout rod and I was using a white fly.
But now I have fresh steelhead eggs, so I should be getting lucky every time I go out.

Hoggie it is genuinely good to hear that you are feeling better.
The great fishing brings back some rather recent memories from Alaska, along with some from my childhood growing up on the Ohio River. Ah the memories...................

I couldn't help but to notice that the Golfhobofish has apparently migrated to your area. That fancy yellow lure must have been irresistible to that particular species. Are these lures available in multi-packs.........say like in quantities of 6 or 24? I've yet to encounter the Golfhobofish around here..... Although there have been persistent rumors that an Indiana appearance just might be in the works...............B

I'm slowly getting back to normal coming off those drugs, but I'm like a werewolf chaining himself to a radiator, to keep from biting people.
I could use one of your fishing stories to sooth me, so I might stop trying to gnaw my arm off so I can get loose.

Thanks a lot, eh
3 days and no one offered me a fish story, so I gnawed my arm off, and ran after my neighbor's sheep
and, you all know what happened the last time I did that...eh?
Kiwi Mitch knows what I'm talking aboot.

at first it was the little things, like turning in a tight circle several times as I would go to lay down, the chewing and itching my hide, or drinking out of the toilet. Originally Posted by freebirdrfd
