Default Container Trailers

Why is it that about 1/2 of the container trailers you see on the road have some wobbly wheels? Strange.

I'm thinking it's because most of those trailers have Dayton wheels on them and the tire tech doesn't want to spend the time making sure they run straight when tightening the wedges. Either that or they are loose because nobody checks them !

Because nobody give a rat's a@# about them. I've watched our local DOT man let every single one go but pull over every other rolling wreck and do an inspection. I asked him one day about it, he refuses to pull over a container, he knows he will shut each and every one of the trailers down was all he gave me.
