Default Isn't this amazing???

After all the years we've all been told to cut down on fats, that skim milk is the best for us to hold down the cholesterol... Now, they're going to reverse themselves.:clap:

Oh, yeah... MILK DOES A BODY GOOD....:lol2:

Let's all head over to the DAIRY BAR and drink up....:lol:

Study backs heart-healthy effect of dairy fat - Heart health- msnbc.com

Quote:
The researchers found that people with the highest levels of milk fat biomarkers, suggesting they consumed the most dairy fat, were actually at lower risk of heart attack; for women, the risk was reduced by 26 percent, while for men risk was 9 percent lower.
Quote:
Based on the American Heart Association's Heart Attack Risk Calculator, a normal-weight 60-year-old man with no risk factors for heart disease (such as smoking or diabetes) has a 6 percent risk of dying over the next 10 years; the current study suggests, therefore, that if this hypothetical man ate lots of dairy food, he would reduce his risk by about half a percent. For a woman, or someone at higher risk of a heart attack, the benefit would be larger.Dairy foods contain a number of potentially beneficial substances, such as calcium, vitamin D, and potassium, Warensjo and her team note. They have also been shown to increase people's levels of "good" HDL cholesterol.
And, that's not beginning to mention the benefits in fighting off diabetes.

I knew there's been a reason I've been drinking a gallon of whole milk a day.:smokin::thumbsup::bow:

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Between 1 and 1 1/2 gallons a day. I had milk in my cooler in the truck, instead of soda, and not a lot of coffee unless I needed a little help staying awake for what ever reason. But I didn't do a lot of chocolate. If the cooler died, that was nastier than white. But, so much for skim, 1%, or 2%. But I seldom did the 2% either. Generally whole milk (3%), and Smith's Dairy in OH used to have smaller bottles that were 3 1/2 %. That was even better.

From the cows, milk is anywhere between 4 to 7 percent butterfat. Depending on the bread of cows. But, if they stocked the store shelves with that, they would not have cream to make the butter I use all the time.

Powdered milk was the way to go when I drove.

But, I'll just spring for a small fridge when the time comes, mixing and mashin gets a little old after awhile.

Beer is good for you, saw a report about 10 years ago that said so but only if you did 1 a day, not a 12 pack a day.

Well, if it got spilled from the box, then I'd be in a bit of a pickle.

noo noo nee nee

...or at least have a diaper slapped on me and given a binky bottle.
Otherwise, I can't stand the stuff.
