Default Nat'l Corvette Museum

Anyone ever been?

I had the pleasure of going today this morning. After my pickup 3 miles away, I headed back to I65 and swung in there. Awsome place!

I know many of you have driven past it...don' lie. Right off I65 in Bowling Green, KY. I was a little bummed the 'vette factory was closed for 2 weeks, so I couldn't go for the tour.

On a sidenote, I am posting this because they DO have semi truck parking and it's pretty accessible. If you go, take the first entrance and proceed straight and you'll see a large paved parking lot. However, don't show up before 7am, as they have gates, and do not allow overnight stays. Pics to come if anyone is interested.

Get them pics posted! I've wanted to stop, but always seem to be running tight when passing through there.

i went to a car show last night. i saw the new corvette, mustang, charger, etc. but the one everyone seemed to be going crazy over was the new camaro.

i am a girl, so i didn't see anything great with it. i liked the new range rovers, myself. the LR3 was looking real nice.

I-65 used to be one of my primary travel lanes. I could not tell you how many times that I have passed the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. I have always thought about stopping but never seemed to have the time. I would love to see the pictures you took.

I went a few months ago, but I toured the plant first. I even got to drive a black Z06 off of the assembly line and was given it's birth certificate.

I went a year or so ago but I think they built on to it now. I pasted by a while back and it looked like they had done alot of work on it.

They are doing some construction, and it looks like quite a few new cars will have cozy viewing/display spots.

I need a few days to get the pics up. Photobucket is slow and I'm gonna run hard the next few days.

I did get props from some of the staff there when I told them I own a Syclone, and 2 Typhoons ( all have the corvetter center section with shifter and glovebox). I'm a GM turbo junky. I want to get a GN next, but a Vette may compete for the 5th car slot.

Man, I have always wanted a GMC Typhoon ever since they came out. Couldn't get one new, since I was only 12-13 years old when they were realesed, and now many of them are going for close to the MSRP from when they were sold new. Oh well, guess I will just have to make do with my 2005 Silverado SS. And yeah, skip the Grand National and go with the Corvette. ~2003 Z06:smokin:
