Default How big is your.......

TV screen at home?

My siblings and I were trying to figure out a good gift for the 'rents and we have decided on a new television. We just haven't agreed on its size.

Your input (and the TV's output) would greatly be appreciated!!!

I have a 19" Panasonic. Nice picture, but I can just imagine what it would be like to have a big HDTV.

Everytime I go to Wal-Mart, I bypass the "electronics" section. I see all those TVs, and I wipe my tear, and keep walking.

27" at home, 17" laptop in the truck. I was in Circuit City this weekend and saw the one I wanted - 73" plasma - only $2,500.

Just got a new 37" on Black friday.
My previous tv was a 32", which I was fine with that size.
What your going to want to think about it the fact that these new widescreens are shorter in heighth, so in order to get a tv close to the height of a regular old skool 32", you have to buy a 37".

I'm very happy with my 37". I was worried because my living room isnt huge, but it's perfect.
Good luck!

Better be careful. With something like that, you could get right into the picture yourself. Watch something like THE BATTLE AT LITTLE BIG HORN and you could find an arrow in your back...

I'm afraid I'm no help with this one. I generally don't watch TV, except the news from time to time, just to keep up with it. And, I can still see well enough without my glasses that I can stilll go with a picture tube. May have to do something about that in the near future when it all goes digital.
