Interstate’s primary goal is to offer several choices for Operators when signing on with the company. The new Maintenance Support program is the newest option available to save Operators money on repairs and receive discounts on labor parts and tires. The program also offers Operators the option to establish a pre-paid Maintenance Fund to use for future expenses.
Highlights of the program include a $1000 sign on bonus applied to the Owner Operator’s Maintenance Fund $75 per hour shop rate at the company’s maintenance facilities discounted pricing on repair parts and tire purchases and Interstate corporate pricing at thousands of vendors. Owner Operators also receive the option to make weekly contributions to their Maintenance Fund as well as optional tow and breakdown coverage.

Operators are able to establish their own Maintenance Fund by designating a transfer of existing funds or by deducting a fixed amount from their settlements. Funds are accepted at Interstate’s shops as well as some external vendors. Operators also receive free annual DOT inspections on their anniversary month.
