Barr-Nunn’s Record Pay Increases Continue with $0.55/mi for Teams

Granger IA June 17 2014 – Barr-Nunn Transportation is pleased to announce a raise for team drivers as their latest addition to a record-breaking series of pay increases. The base pay for team drivers has been raised to $0.55 per mile for all miles (empty or loaded) and $0.59 per mile for Hazmat loads (placarded or not).

After one year with Barr-Nunn team drivers’ base pay will be raised to $0.56 per mile.

In addition to raising the base pay for driver teams Barr-Nunn is offering new teams transition pay $1250 to each driver on their first check and of an incremental $0.05 per mile split for the first 120 days. This transition pay brings their all-mile rate to $0.60 per mile and their Hazmat rate to $0.64 per mile for the first 120 days. Non-Hazmat teams will now start at $0.52 per mile.

This latest raise builds on the comprehensive pay changes instituted by Barr-Nunn earlier this year covering base pay CSA bonuses increased paid time off and the continued purchase of new equipment.
