Owner Operators running in the OTR Zone 1 fleet will start at $1.00 per mile base pay on all practical miles loaded and empty. The change will strengthen Barr-Nunn’s ties to its existing Zone 1 Owner Operators and be useful in ongoing recruitment efforts.

Owner Operators in the fleet OTR Zone 1 will earn band pay at the following rates:

$2.00 per mile for trips between 1-100 miles

$1.30 per mile for trips between 101-200 miles

$1.15 per mile for trips between201-300 miles

$1.10 per mile for trips between 301-400 miles

$1.06 per mile for trips between 401-550 miles

$1.03 per mile for trips over 550 miles

The above rates do not include fuel surcharge which is paid on all loaded and empty miles. Furthermore Barr-Nunn passes on 100% of vender fuel discounts along to its Owner Operators. Barr-Nunn already leads the industry in terms of Performance Bonuses $800 every 30000 paid miles; and Safety Bonuses $1000 every 30000 paid miles.
