The American Trucking Association (ATA) is seeking nominations for the Mike Russell “Good Stuff” Trucking Image Award.

The award, sponsored by TMW Systems, is entering its seventh year. First presented in 2006, the award honors trucking companies, state associations and allied companies that have created positive awareness of the trucking industry.

Nominations are due by September 23 and the winners will be announced at the ATA’s annual Management Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Florida, in October.

Submission will be evaluated by an impartial panel of judges, who will base their recommendations on creativity, execution, and efforts. The nominees must promote the image of trucking in innovative ways, professionally execute their submissions, include examples on any return on investment, and reach a large and relevant audience.

The Mike Russell "Good Stuff" Trucking Image Award is named after the late Mike Russell, a former ATA vice president of public affairs and a trucking industry supporter.

"Good stuff. Trucks Bring It" is an industry-wide campaign directed at improving the image of trucking. By highlighting the importance of trucking to the American community, the campaign shows the public a positive, modern image of the professional truck driver and the industry as a whole.
