Rust jacking

This is early but make a note for yourself to regularly inspect your brake shoes this winter and next spring, look close as the cracking can start anywhere.

The liquid salt that has become popular around the country causes corrosion between the shoe and foundation on your brakes, it will crack the shoe causing a seperation. If you experience rust jacking request coated foundations, it is nothing more than a tar based coating but it will save you from repeated problems.
