Been out of a truck for 3and one half years due to medical condition.Have been cleared by doctors to return and am in good health.

I too have been out for medical. I have also been cleared to return to work by docrors. I have almost 16 years of ort. But sinch I have been out of trucking for 5 years I can not find a company that will even talk to me. It don't make sench to me why a trucking co will hire someone right out of school but will not give someone with 16 yrs of driveing with a clean driveing record a chanch just because they haven't drove for a while. If anyone knows of a good trucking co that might or would give me a chanch, please let me know. I live in southeast Iowa. I have a clean CDL class A with tanker.
