Does your phone come with an adapter to hook to your fax machine?
A lot of us are signed up on a service like efax, but we need to use a wireless card to go through our laptops to then retrieve the fax from our printers/fax machine.
I suspect your phone serves as an aircard,.....problem is that you won't have a away to sign and fax back,....unless you have a scanner/printer/fax machine.
Other than that,..theres no reason why you can't get the signal through your phone.
I remember a few years ago I had a Motorola Startac cellphone that hooked up to my laptop for wireless internet,.....it was very,..........very,..........very,.....slow and I got rid of it within the 30 day trial period. Much has changed now,..sometimes my aircard is more reliable and faster than my Knology cable modem,...but then again,..Knology sucks.
