Default Step deck, need advice

Want to buy a stepdeck, looked in truckpaper, nothing there in my price range. I'm looking for used, in working condition trailer, which will be low enough to transport containers. Any idea where to look? I'm in WA, will travel for good deal.

Thanks in advance for your attention.

I have hauled containers on a flat, Flat is all you need. If you are hauling the chassis also, but I don't know you would want to do that, still may be to high for a drop deck.

Somewhere around 8' +/ -. You would still be under 13.6' with a flatbed, its done all the time.

Unless you plan on hauling tall containers, a flat bed may serve your needs. Finding a good used flat or step deck can be a real challenge. Someone has already suggested The Truckpaper. That is a good start. You might check with TMI or Superior Trailer in Oklahoma City. Superior also has a place in Dallas. They usually have plenty of flats and steps. Most are new, but the sometimes have some used in stock. If you have cash, you may want to consider attending an auction. I have known some who have gotten good deals.
