The newly weds
Years ago, a couple got married. On leaving the church, he gently helped her into the buggy and then climbed in himself. When he picked up the reins and said "GIDDYAP", the horse didn't move.
Calmly, he put the reins down, stepped out of the buggy and went to the front of the horse. Gently, he held the horse's chin in one hand, pointed the index finger of the other hand toward the horse's head...
"THAT'S ONE..."
Again, he climbed into the buggy and picked up the reins...
"GIDDYAP".
Again, the horse didn't move... Again, in front of the horse, he said...
"THAT'S TWO..."
Again, in the buggy, he picked up the reins... "GIDDYAP"...
When the horse didn't move the third time, he stepped out of the buggy, stood in front of the horse, drew his revolver and shot the horse dead.
His new bride was horrified... "THAT WAS CRUEL...."
He looked at his new bride and said... "THAT'S ONE...."
And, they lived happily ever after....
