Only thing i can tell you is dont go with there lease option...we tried that and we were making money sometimes. if you can live off of 200 dollars at the most for a couple of weeks then this is the company for you.

Any CRST Van Expedited drivers out there ? I would like some info on their training, do you get training or is your trainer sleeping while you drive ? How much can you realisticly make weekly ?

Default Dont , just dont

First of all if you havent run expedited it is NOT what you're used to. Very few drivers can handle it.

Secondly ive heard horror story after horror story mostly about them just not giving a darn about their drivers or getting them home. Well one driver told me they were ripping him off but until they could get him home he coulnt quit in protest..

Thirdly they are a company that Advertises themselves as a christian company. That should send warning signals flying. I worked for a companly slap full of Real christians. They didnt advertise it and treated us like gold. Every business ive ever seen that bragged about the fact was slap full of thieves an scumbags though.

Gluck whatever you do though.

Thanks for taking the time to pass that info along cdreid I greatly apprecite it. I choose not to go with CRST already but I cant say any newbie will get a start with a great company so I will tough it out and worry more about improving my driving skill than stressing about every little issue until I have a year or two in the seat.

Default good luck

Can i make a suggestion?

Honestly i think most drivers biggest problem is stress.Try NOT to stress about everything. Bad things are going to happen. You're going to be pressured to do things you cant do. I think Most drivers have a much stronger work ethic than the average person and it does them in. We die from heart attacks more than anything else. Just obey the law (much as you can) dont get hurt and remember you're there to make money but you have to be Happy. If you arent happy move on. You sound like a smart guy whos going to be a great trucker.
