Exclamation Please Help!

In July I was caught for speeding in my personal car it was due to an emergency and was caught at 22mph over the trooper would not give me a break because I was in a going thru a :bigangry:town. I lost my job due to this ticket. Does anyone know of a company that can hire with that ticket being that far over. The trooper only got me for speeding, Which he could have gotten me for much worse. I am a very good driver never had any accidents, nor late on loads.

If you could prove it was a emergency the judge should let you off. Most of the time they will. Some insurance company's will only let you by with 15 over before they drop you. The key is to talk to them and talk very nice. I got one going 58 in a 35 in my truck, I was nice to the cop, took the ticket, and 2 days later I called and talked to him and he dropped it down to 47 in a 35. I thanked him and mailed it in. Most people wont to be a ass to the cops and that just don't work. Good luck.

The problem is I have already paid the ticket. It is not on my license though. But it is on my Ohio record because I used to hold an Ohio license and now have a Florida license. When I spoke with Florida, Ohio is a state that they do not work with and will not be adding it to my license. But when I go to get a new job insurance companies find it on this Ohio record even though the Ohio license are void.

Try a moving company or Greyhound Bus lines. Both of those jobs suck tremendously so they are in desperate need of drivers.

It must not have been life or death....which means it wasn't an emergency. Had it been Life or Death, the Trooper would have escorted you, instead of ticketing you. Even in Ohio.

What type of emergency could possibly exist that would make it ok to jeopardize the safety of the general public as well as yourself by driving 22 mph over the limit? Apparently the officer didn't see a reason either but I really would like to know what you thought was so important! Oh, and did the speeding get you there faster? Looks like the ticket probably slowed you down more than the dangerous driving.
