 A U.S. District Judge in Minneapolis has ruled that Michael Vick may keep $16.25 million in bonus money he received from the Atlanta Falcons. Vick must forfeit $3.75 million to the Falcons who attempted to recover the whole amount. The judge ruled that forfeiting the whole amount of money would violate the collective bargaining agreement the Falcons have with the NFL Players Association. Vick is still being held in jail on the dogfighting charges. Comments anyone?

That money is already gone. Trying to get it back would be like trying to squeeze water from a stone.

As long as he's never allowed back in the NFL, justice will have been served. To throw away that kind of talent and career is something that should haunt him all of the rest of his miserable life.

:D Twilight what I can't understand is why Vick thought he needed more money. He had all he'd ever need to live comfortably with a good roof over his head, three squares a day, no doubt several nice vehicles, and a large bank account for emergencies. I just can't understand why so many rich people think they need MORE money.

It's called the flashlight syndrome. If you shine a flashlight in his ears and his eyes sparkle, he's got it. Flashlight syndrome is known to make a person dumber than a fence post. Vick apparently has one of the worst cases known to man and his name is likely to show up as a Darwin Award Nominee in the near future when he utters the immortal words "Hey ya'll, watch this!"
