DO YOU THINK I SHOULD HAVE STAYED AT CRETE.........
I left crete after about 1 year and 4 months to go back to my construction job so i could be home as needed for my kids. It doesn't really seem like it made much difference after 6 months. I was much happier driving for crete otr. should i go back if they will take me!

I think family should always come first(especially kids),
sorry "your being there" hasn't made a difference...but at least you ARE there. I know the housing market is down, but as long as you're making a decent living in Construction...no I wouldn't dream of going back OTR. Maybe, something Regional or Dedicated...but not OTR. Go back to Crete? hmmmm, as long as you didn't burn the bridge behind you...sure

I left Crete to take my grandkids when their Mom was an a--hole. Crete took me back and offered me a sign on bonus to boot. I lost my seniority and started over on my vacation allottment. It was still a great oportunity to be able to go back. Call and check and expalin what happened. Tell them you are thinking of coming back but have no idea when. They will work with you. Good luck.
