Im currently residing in Alaska. Been a seasonal driver locally here since 1998. Driving everything from end/dump trucks to mixer trucks to flat beds. Mostly pulling side dump and belly dumps during construction season. During winters I would fly up to Prudoe Bay, Alaska and drive B-70s and double semi- end dumps.
Im currently wanting completely out of Alaska and this frigid cold!
Prior to 1998, I did bedbugging and mobil carhauling OTR.
Currently looking to relocate to the midwest area. Not the dessert! Not any big cities either, prefer small towns.
Are there any trucking outfits that would help with relocation?
Where should I move to?
Do I need to be near the local hub to get work?
Or can I live off some old remote area and still get work as driver?
I want to live a rural life. Away from people, yet close to Interstate to get places and get home easily with Semi. All suggestions are helpful.
