    Default A...OK..intresting(accident)

Going between stops yesterday in the snow(dusting to an inch my ass), going up a hill on a two lane road, a car coming down the hill fish-tails in to my trailer. The back rear driver-side of the car hit the back of my trailer by the tire. Look in the mirror and see a few parts flying. Call 911 and report what happened. Dispatcher says find a safe place to stop. Top of the hill was my stop with a big lot so I say I'll stop there(no way to stop on the hill, UNSAFE). Cops show up a few minutes later. We are talking and getting info and the cops tell me that, are ready, here is the interesting part:
THEY CANNOT FIND THE CAR THAT HIT ME! They find a few parts in the road BUT no sign of the car anywhere. They ask for a description of the car, so I give them what I can. Cop has a few theories of why the other driver did not stop but that was "off the record".

No damage to the trailer at all. The cop and I came to the conclusion that the car hit the trailer tire.

Glad there was not much damage and no injury.

Many possibilities come to mind as to why they did not stick around varying from it just wasn't worth the hassle for such a mall accident that they could cover the damage without increasing insurance to warrents and legal status.

Important thing is that you handled it properly, thanks for being a professional driver.

Actually it's your fault for driving down the same road the four-wheelers use...
