The guy I am refering to works for Carver Marine. They have a plant just north of Green Bay and that is where this guy was from. Carver is a offshoot of Genmar.

It's a feat some of us could only dream of: A Beloit Frito-Lay truck driver has driven two million miles without getting in an accident. That's a new record for female drivers and proof positive that women can drive.

"People always ask me, do you like driving and I always say no, I love driving," says Frito-Lay driver Deb Davis. "Some people smoke or drink or do drugs, I just have to drive."

The mantra, "Do what you love," has worked out well for Davis. She and a colleague from Georgia recently made history as the first female Frito-Lay drivers to travel two million miles accident free. That's the equivalent of nine round trips from the Earth to the Moon!

Davis has a one million mile decal on her truck's cab, marking one million accident free miles, the two million mile sticker is on its way. Now let's find out what keeps her so safe behind the wheel.

"Common sense I guess," says Davis. "You just practice and practice and you just get to know your vehicle and if you don't feel safe, you get out and look."

Frito-Lay posts safety reminders for drivers as they head out on the road. "It's just things to look for and beware of, you know when you're driving."

And they practice constant safety training for all drivers. "Once a year we have an obstacle course and you get graded," says Davis.

Safety is always on Davis' mind, even after 31 years on the road. She was the first female Frito-Lay driver in the Midwest

"I'm proud of being the first girl to be able to do what the men do and keep up with them."

And if she keeps on trucking this way, she'll leave the rest of the crowd in her dust.

Another Davis safety tip: She says she's never in a hurry. If the weather's too rough or she's too tired, she pulls over until she feels safe. She's one of nearly 90 Frito-Lay drivers who have logged a million miles or more accident-free.

I have to heartily agree with that Kat. Those "boys" of the board really got out of line this time. Personally, I tend to lean towards faulting their leader, GMAN for this juvenile behavior.

Us "men" of the board will immediately intensify our efforts to squash this inappropriate behavior demonstrated by the likes of Jumbo, matcat, Windwalker and ronjon. I also am shocked and upset by their actions.

I'm on it!!!

So... I'm trashing the thread, am I???
And, how would I be doing that? By not having much to say? I could post something that would get your attention. That would justify your accusation. Want to go for it???
