So sorry yoopr, think this was some whining happening here, and...well it kind of got the hackles up on us....

Temper, temper ladies, but I think I can safely (I hope   ) speak for the regulars here, we don't much care to be insulted, and I suppose we should have just ignored it, but sometimes...well we get enough of this type of thing & somes times just have to respond to it :!: :!:

Some of us got lucky & found our spot right off the get go, but unfortunately, that is most often NOT the case. We have all paid our dues, worked our tails off to EARN the respect we have & the right to be "vetrans".

Yeah, I hear ya there wildkat, I started out at the bottom of the bottom, loading trucks, by hand, not with forklifts. I worked my way up to becoming a driver. You are right, wildkat, nobody wants to start at the bottom anymore, they figure that they should be starting at the top making top pay right away. They know there are other jobs out there but they feel that those jobs are beneath them.

I only work 4 to 5 days a week, I don't even have a computer in my truck, I have to wait til I get home, so I don't post when I'm on the road. You don't have to be away from home for weeks at a time to make a decent living.

Me neither Shawnee, no place with computer service where I run, & if I'm lucky I can spend 12 hours or so at home once or twice a week & then 2 days after 14 on and I'm only considered regional (Alberta & NWT)....man sometimes I feel like I'm running long haul again... LOL

Afraid I don't sit still much running 15,000+ miles every month.
