Starting problems

Hello all. I parked my truck for a few days and when I went to start it it crank for 2-3 seconds then shuts off. I ran batteries low trying to get it crunk. Well I charged batteries sprayed a little starting fluid and same thing runs for 2-3 seconds. Any suggestions?

sounds dumb did you check to see if it's getting fuel

I checked filters there is fuel in both. Just seeing if anybody has had this problem before. Engine is Detroit Series 60.

crank for 2-3 seconds? You mean the engine is running?

How is the oil pressure? I do not know how fast low oil pressure will cut out that engine.

Yes it runs 2-3 seconds then shuts off. When I parked truck oil pressures was fine.

well check the oil level, check the water level. if it's to low that will kill it. also do you live someplace that has had alot of rain.....? you may have moisture in the plug going to the ecm

Check the codes. You might be able to do it with a test light.

flood how dry out the moisture? oh5 you mean the fault codes, if so I says no fault codes.

I replaced the TRS and SRS sensors, also the fuel pump but truck is still doing the same thing. It will stay running if I spray starter fluid but when I stop spraying it shuts off.

There should be a wire directly from the batteries to the ecm & also might have a fuse in the battery box. make sure the wiring is ok. If its bad it won't run, but i don't think that the engine lights on the dash will power up either.......
