What do engine oil temps typically run at?

As the topic says.

Mine runs around 180, just like the engines used to.

Should be within engine operating temp, 180 to 200 degrees

What I look for in +/- 10 degrees F (approx) of what the water temp. is if the engine uses an oil to water heat exchanger. With no oil cooler, 200-210 F seems to be what I've seen. Seems like I read that engine oil is engineered to perform well at around 210F. Just my 2 cents and by no means manufacturer's technical data.
