Just searched posts to no avail...My EzyRider airseat leaks down every fifteen minutes or so, but I cannot hear any leak even with the truck turned off. Any ideas? What should I check/look for? I'm going to take some soapy water in a spray bottle & see if that reveals a leak somewhere. The truck is a Freightliner Columbia daycab with 300K miles, I'm guessing a 1997 or thereabout.

the valve that controls the air supply can leak. it is the button that you pull or push for seat adjustment. if it is in that valve, they sell a universal type that will bolt up just like your original one. if the leak is in the valve, you can buy them at truckpro.

.....or the air line going out to the air bag,or the bag itself.

Brass fitting themselves have been known to crack ... just something else to spray with the bubbly water.

I had a similar problem with my seat. I didn't hear any air leak, but the dashboard air gauge showed some loss over night. I finally discovered by accident (while leaning behind the seat) there was an audible leak from one of the air hoses going into the bottom of the seat. It had been rubbing against the frame of the seat and developed a hole. Asked our shop to patch it up and put a protective plastic sleeve over the hose ... Leak cured.

thick soapy water will do the trick as long as you put enough on and be patient, but it will show. There are very sensitive ( I have one) air leak testers that will beep when checking for leaks,

who is the manufacturer of this tester? can you post a link to it?

It looks just like a freon leak detector and beep louder if the airflow across the tip increases.\
You have to move slowly along so you dont cause a breeze and cause it to increase the beeps..

I actually hardly use it as I like my big bottle of soap and watch it bubble up

That stuff the kids use for blowing bubbles works great if you put it in a spray bottle and spray it on the suspect area.

A mixture of Mr. Clean and water works good too.

Found the leak, it was the brass fitting under the seat where the air line attached. Put some teflon tape on it, cut a 1/4 inch off the line and the seat holds pressure now. Thanks for all your input.
