Beware of companies that "guarantee" you any type of mileage unless its in writing and they will pay the miles that you are short to bring it up to the mileage guarantee. My bulls**t meter would instantly redline if a company guaranteed me 3000 miles a week.

I would to if they did 3k but here they only garuntee 2500, so I'm guessing it's goinna be closer to that but I can deal with that

they said so far as he can see they are preaproved but waiting on a few more leters to come in. Of course, that doesn't meen it's a done deal but am hopeing.

Well, 3 weeks later and what turned out to posably be a good prospect seems to have turned up nithing but that ok, I guess I'll just keep beating the bushes till something turns up. At least the plant farm I drive for is in full swing ATM so I'm running prety hard for right now.

heh, yeh, well probably going to be in forest city, nc or someplace near huston, tx before long. I do have one thing I might posably have in my favor soon. going to aply for my twic card monday so mabe after the holidays I can start running the ports till I can get an OTR gig again

Bro, when you get down to where the rubber meets the road all truck companies are "basically" the same. All the recruiters pump sunshine up your #%@ because that is their job. Company A pays more per mile, Company B gets you more miles, company C gets you home more and has better benefits. The way I see it, you are the key to your success. If you have some hustle, give it your best, go into it with a positive attitude, stay on the road instead of hanging at the truckstops chasing lot lizards and drive safe you will succeed
