I was told they have "Calif spread axle" What is that?

A calif spread is a 48' flatbed trailer, with a spread axle, but the axle, as a set, are moved in farther than a conventional spread, where the rear axle is almost at the rear of the trailer. a Calif spread usually starts about 5-6' give or take from the rear of the trailer, much how a 53' flat looks.
