Werners trucks were better decked out than schneiders , and they had Bosstrom seats ,which were ...CRAP....Saying you have a high end century is llike saying you're the richest guy in the ghetto ...

Don't know if anyone can answer that.
Might want to call Crete and see what they say.
If they hire you back, you may need to "train" again for little.

Well I drive for Shaffer right now...and the seats in this 83 series Century are Atlas Seats...not the basic model National seating...but certainly not "top of the line"...they do had adjustable air lumbard support and armrests. The pedestal of course doesn't swivel around but I wouldn't expect that in a Fleet truck. The Volvo is probably going to be a more confortable ride.. definately
a quieter ride....I think there's more space in and the freighliner is far more "liveable" roomy than the volvo...except I believe the volvo has prewired power inverter.

Given Crete/Shaffer base pay floor is around .41cent
and Knight (1) not certain you'll be actually "assigned" a volvo and a base pay of .34 cent with part of that "per diem" << of which they take a penny to
"cover their tax expense".....

I'd go with the Century...within a week that extra $$$ you could afford the "airhawk" seating pad and maybe the "beads" for your back. And with the
Opti-Idle within weeks you'll be so tired from not getting a good nights rest
your back pain will be hardly noticable.

You know Roadway has a whole new fleet of trucks....with no seats and no steering wheels......they are looking to recruit a bunch of Owner Operators
who have lost their ass and don't know which way to turn.
