For the record, we always know the reason drivers we recruit arent hired, whether it be for JB or an outside company.
Again, I never said its just drivers who do this sort of thing. In my life ive condcuted many interviews in many different types of jobs. And Ive seen people show up wearing very strange things.

Yea, right....whatever.

AGB....If you want to know how Praxair will respond to you, go to one of their terminals in your area. Just because all you see in your area is day-cabs, does not mean they don't have sleeper units. Most of the sleeper units are on on the road, doing what they are supposed to be doing..which is longhaul. You can also stop by Air products Company or even Air Liquide, or...as your name suggest's..you can go by AirGas, and see what they have to offer.

The praxair jobs we have been recruiting for them were local jobs and team type regional jobs were you are on 4 days off 3.

So..one guy wears a bathing suit and everyone is an idiot? Better reset your relief valve there Sheepdancer

I dont see anywhere in my post where I said everyone, Skippy.
Im sure more drivers when going for an interview for an 80k+ year job would dress professionally. He didnt, and lost out.

I don't see where showing up cleanly dressed and well groomed for a job like that would be a problem. Anyone who researches a company like that and probably 99% of the chemical tanker companies would have to know that these companies are a bit pickier than most freight companies in general.

If I was interviewing someone for any job other than "lifeguard" or "cabana-boy"....I wouldn't hire someone showing up in a bathing suit either.
