Does Knight run much up into Wisconsin?

I don't see many trucks around the Madison area, so I was wondering how that would work out on getting home.

Actually we run up there quite a bit. I have been running up into Wisconsin and Minnesota quite regularly.

I know when I was there I ran quite a few loads into the Madison area as well as Beloit and Rockford, IL.

When it is time to send you home they will get you something that either delivers before your home time as close as possible and dead head you the rest of the way or find you something that you can take home with you that delivers after your time off.

You just need to make sure you communicate with your dispatcher well about what your plans are. (IE: When you want/need to be home, and how many days you need to be off for.)

We run alot of freight between chicago and Minnesota,
You should have nnnoooo problem getting home.

I lost count the number of times I get up there!

Do you guys go up into Canada?

Would the orientation be at the closest location to me? I see one in Lemont, IL and Egan, MN.

Not sure which one you would be out of, but my guess would me MN.
Just give them a call, I will try to remember to ask when I go back tues.
Where you are at, you could more then likley pick which one you want to run out of.

AS for canada, I really don't know.
I have never been there with knight myself.

Your orientation should be at whatever terminal you are assigned to run out of, assuming they are set up for it. If not then they would send you to the closest terminal that does orientations.

Looking at the current map, it looks like the IL terminal covers IL and WI so that is probably where you will run out of.

no Knight does not currently go into Canada....
